Beauty

At the Lateran Palace beauty, in all its forms, is at home. Through frescoed vaults and magnificent ceilings we will make you discover, room after room, tapestries of fine workmanship, paintings of the great masters and precious antique furniture.

Not only artistic but also spiritual beauty: through the stories of the great Prophets and Apostles, the allegories and catechetical references hidden in them, we will go in search of the deepest messages of faith.

Spirituality

«This is the chosen and blessed place from which, faithfully through the centuries, the rock on which the Church is founded confirms all the brothers in the truth of the faith, presides in charity over all the Churches and with firm gentleness guides all along the paths of holiness»
